Hizkiel came to the hospital carrying the heavy burden of Rheumatic Heart Disease. The condition developed silently over years, likely stemming from untreated childhood infections common in many rural communities. By the time he sought advanced care, his heart valves had been significantly damaged, threatening his health and future.

But with the generous support of Tegbar Organization and a life-saving surgery by the skilled hands of Dr. Fekede and his surgical team at Healing Valves Ethiopia, Hizkiel received the critical cardiac surgery he desperately needed. Tegbar Organization proudly sponsored the entire cost of his operation, removing the financial burden from his family and giving him access to expert care.

Hizkiel is now recovering well and on his way to regaining strength and hope for a healthier life. His recovery has been remarkable — he now breathes easily, has regained his energy, and is excited to return to his studies and embrace life fully.
