Eyasu, a cheerful but fragile baby boy weighing just 7kg, was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart defect at Tazma Medical & Surgical Specialized Center.  All four chambers of his tiny heart were dilated, and his right ventricle was overworking dangerously, pumping more than 150% of blood into the aorta.

Without urgent surgery, Eyasu’s future was uncertain. His family, already struggling, could not afford the high cost of the life-saving open-heart procedure. That’s when Tegbar Organization stepped in.

 

We proudly sponsored the entire cost of Eyasu’s heart surgery, ensuring he received the expert care he needed at Tazma Medical & Surgical Specialized Center. The surgery was a success. The large VSD was repaired, the pressure on his lungs and heart was relieved, and Eyasu began his remarkable recovery.

Today, this little warrior is breathing easier, gaining weight, and showing the playful energy every child should have. His parents are overjoyed to see their son smiling, playing, and growing stronger each day — a transformation made possible through generous support and timely intervention.
